We had our Board Meeting to update the progress made on the projects. The board appreciated the efforts of the team’s 100% performance on the deliverables. The board has discussed the projects for rest of the year, global grant project, subscription and other matters of priority.
The team was eagerly waiting for the our yearly important event – Governor’s Official Visit. The venue was decorated with Jute – eCo friendly materials and displayed our accolades to visiting District Governor. The event was very interactive session with DG. He appreciated our efforts and also gave his suggestion and advice to take our club to next level. The eventful morning ended nicely with good remarks, nice chat and laugh with fun and fellowship

We are committed to improve lives of people in the rural areas. In line with the above, we have inaugurated the 1st Rotary Dialysis Centre at SMF Hospital, Annur. This facility going to benefit patients who are suffering from CKD in villages around Annur. The total cost of the project is supported by fellow rotarians and their immediate family and business contacts.

On the World Diabetes day, along with Lotus Eye Hospital we have organised Free Health check up camp in which the participants are screening Eye, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure. The event venue was Opp RS Puram Post Office

To enlighten the new members on Rotary we have invited stalwarts of RI3201 Rtn PP Lakshmanan & Rtn Chella Ragavendra on topics “Rotary Service & Why rotary ” and “The Rotary Foundation”. The meeting was very informative and every new members and existing members enhanced their knowlege on rotary.

We celebrated the festival of lights along with inmates of Vimal Shanthi Leprosy Home. During the event we distributed dress materials, sweets and also cheque for Rs.8000/-. The event was well attended by our members and cherished their presence.

As an annual event, we celebrated Deepavali along with school children of Govt Middle School, Vadivelampalayam. We distributed sweets and karam packets to the school children, due to pandemic we followed covid protocols during the celebrations.

We have invited our beloved AG Rtn Muruganandham for the exclusive assembly and our GGR Rtn Sureshkumar joined us as well. It was a very interactive session, while AG gave very progressive feedback on our club current activities and future plans
Going out for a drive on a weekend is very refreshing. We RCCians are longing for one and this trip was very appropriate. We all assembled on Pollachi highway and had south Indian breakfast prepared by our Anns. Post-lip-smacking breakfast, we drove to Aliyar farmhouse. Our Annettes, anns, and Rotarians enjoyed the water stream and relaxed until lunch was served while some live counter serving hot paneer, mushroom, and chickens barbeques added the flavour to it.
