Our Rotarians and families participated in large numbers in Jingalaala 2023 a cultural event conducted by RCC East, which celebrated Christmas, New Year, and Pongal in a traditional style at KSIRS International School. Coimbatore.

Our club members contributed 50 kits worth Rs.87500/- to the flood-affected people in South Tamil Nadu. This service project is a joint event of G50 clubs

We organized a joint speaker meeting with our parent club RCC Midtown. The speaker was Dr.P.Pramod, Sr Principal Scientist, Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History. The topic for the meeting was “Sustainability and Development”

The Rotary Coimbatore City in association with Nirmala College of Women, Coimbatore sets forth the motto “One Earth, One Family, One Future” by mass production of “One Million Seed Balls on 6th December 2023 creating a record. Mother Nature plays a vital role as the foundation of life on Earth providing essential resources. Respecting and preserving nature is crucial for maintaining a healthy planet and ensuring the well-being of present and future generations. Over 2500 students from Nirmala College participated in this event. We were able to make 1.37 million seedballs in 2 hours and 10 minutes. All students were provided with appreciation certificates and this project was well covered in print and social media as it came as an article in all the newspapers in the Coimbatore region. The expected reach of this project is expected to be more than 50000 people in the Coimbatore region. This event of massive seed ball making going to feature in the India Book of Records for producing a maximum number of seed balls in 2 hours and 10 minutes. Let us all make this world a better place to live by reducing the carbon footprint.

As a part of Diwali Celebration, we donated sweets, sarees and dhoti to the people in Vimal Jeevan Leprosy Homes. We donated around 38 sarees and 38 dhotis

As part of Diwali celebrations, we organized a family get together. Sweets and snacks was gifted to all our members as part of Diwali Celeberations.

As a part of Interact day, we organised a “Cancer Awareness Walkathon” in association with our Interact club of RKS Kalvi Nilayam. The awareness session was handled by Dr.C.Anbu, Consultant Radiation Oncologist. The district interact chairman Rtn Hendry Amalraj was also present for this program
