My dear SMILE team members,

I expect that the members of the Rotary Club of  Coimbatore City are all set to kick off the SMILE Rotary year with the energy and enthusiasm that are characteristic of your club !

Rotary has always been known for its dedication & commitment to service and creating positive change. Going forward, it is essential for us to align our efforts and concentrate on projects that address critical needs in our District.

The District’s Priority Projects for this year are categorised under “SMILE” which aside from being the District theme is also an acronym for our District Priorities. The projects under SMILE have been carefully chosen based on their potential to make a significant and sustainable impact on the community.

By focusing our collective efforts, resources and expertise on these District Priorities, we can create lasting change and leave a memorable legacy in our communities.

To successfully implement these District priorities, we will need the collective strength, dedication and passion of every member in our District. In the coming months, all clubs are expected to actively implement all the District Priority Projects. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or spreading awareness, your contribution will play a critical role in the success of this endeavour. It is only through your hard work and commitment that our initiatives can attain fruition.

As Rotarians, we are driven by the principles of service, friendship and ethical conduct. Let us embrace this opportunity to make a tangible difference and demonstrate the power of Rotary in action.
