We had our first club assembly for this rotary year and we passed certain resolutions for our club.

Our adopted village is Vadivelampalayam which is at a distance of 35KMS from the city. We organized a field trip to the Book Fair for the students of Vadivelampalayam Panchayat Union Middle School. Along with this book fair, we also took them to a GD science expo and GD car museum. 35 students along with 3 teachers participated in the event

We organized a free health camp in association with Vasan Eye Care and Muthu’s Hospital. We organized the camp for general checkups, eye screening, blood pressure, blood sugar, bone mass density, and ECG. Eye screening was done for 152 people, General screening was done for 121 people, Bone mass density was done for 75 people, and ECG for 90 people

The knockout and finals of the tournament were conducted. The following categories were given the trophies under each category: I. Winners 2. Runner-up 3. 3rd place 4.4th place

Rotary Coimbatore City’s first interactive football tournament was organized under the name ” Nathan Memorial Trophy”. It was a 2-day event. The tournament was organized under 2 categories- Under 14 and 16. We had around 40 teams registered under each category (Under 14 and 16) and each team had 10 players. Totally 80 teams and 800 students participated in the event. The chief guest for the event was Rotary District Councillor Mr.RTN R.S. Maruti. The event was conducted in Vivekam Senior Secondary School, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore. They have also agreed to start an interactive club in their school.

We contributed an LED projector to Vadivelampalayam Panchayat Union Middle School as our first project on the installation day. This school is located in our adopted village and we are supporting this school.

We had our installation function at Cosmopolitan Club, Race Course, Coimbatore. We had around 139 people for the function. 4 new members were inducted into our club. The chief guest for the event was Mr. lakoka Subramaniam, Founder Director-Habasit lakoka Pvt Ltd.
