Our member Rtn Dr Murugananth, Consultant Nephrologist led the Nephro camp at SMF Hospital, Annur. The camp targeted to detect and identify high risk kidney disease patients at SMF Hospital. During the camp over 20 diabetic patients consulted him and benefited with his medication and advice.

We had a speaker meeting and our Rtn Narasimhan took us through his experiences of Sri Lanka. During his visit to Sri Lanka he was looking for joint projects, twining arrangements etc. He also handed over the flag exchanged to the Club’s Leadership team.

As a part of Disease prevention, we have organised Free Health Camp at Kasthurinaickenapalayam. In the camp we have conducted EYE Testing, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar tests were performed. Over 150 people participated from the village and we have identified 14 cataract, 15 Blood Sugar new patients. The event was jointly organised by Lotus Eye Hospital and Somaipalayam Panchayat.
